Emberfall Saga
★★★★★ 4.7
Emberfall Saga is the kind of RPG that respects your time without feeling shallow. You build a party of four, each with distinct skill trees, and the turn-based combat rewards you for reading enemy patterns instead of mashing attack. Positioning matters more than raw numbers, which kept me thinking during even routine fights.
The writing carries it. Side characters have their own little arcs, and choices in dialogue occasionally close doors later on. Progress saves cleanly to the cloud, so I bounced between two phones without losing a step.
My only gripe is the early grind before your party gels. Push past the first couple of hours, though, and it opens up into something genuinely rich.
